Our courses and groups are designed to offer a frame of didactic learning and clinical insight, to grow your capacity to work in the complexity of Object Relations in an integrative way.
Introductory Course
Fall: Sean Jackson, MA LMHC & Kerry Ragain, PhD
Winter: Ann Glasser, PhD & Adam Schneider PhD
Spring: Collin McFadden, PhD LMFT & Matt Stichman, MA LMHC
Thursdays at 7:30 – 9:00 pm; Starting on September 21st, 2023
This course will span the academic year–18 sessions– and will explore the context and development of the basic but complex object relations concepts arising from Freud and expanded upon by Klein and later theorists and clinicians. We will also consider necessary conditions for growing a mind, and the clinical implications when that process is affected by neglect or trauma.

Terry Hanson, PhD
Tuesdays at 7:30 – 9:00 pm; Starting on November 14th, 2023
Dreaming has always been at the heart of psychoanalytic work, but most of us can find it terribly daunting when we face the moment of experiencing a dream, whether recalling our own or listening to a patient’s. This course is cosponsored by COR and the Alliance.
Terry Hanson, PhD
Tuesdays at 7:30 – 9:00 pm; Starting on February 20, 2024
Depth oriented psychotherapy is to a great degree centered in grief. Much of the work is the slow, painful process of helping a person come to a point where grief is even possible and during this time the therapist bears much of the weight of the unprocessed mourning. This course is cosponsored by COR and the Alliance.
