Committees
COR is a community, with various committees that are overseen by the Board of Directors, working together to provide a range of exceptional learning opportunities. What follows is a brief description of each of our committees. Interested in getting involved? Our committee chairs would love to hear from you.
Education Committee
Our Education Committee is focused on coordinating our annual range of Foundational Classes, Electives, Infant Observation, and Consult Groups. Our Foundational Classes typically meet 18 times over a nine-month period and include British Object Relations I & II as well as Clinical Conference. Electives are offered throughout the year, taught by various well-respected people in our community, covering a wide range of Object Relations oriented subject matter. Infant Observation provides a bedrock of experience, meeting in a group seminar format for 12 to 14 months. Our Consult Groups, thanks to a generous donor, are offered at minimal cost to those who are beginning to develop themselves as psychoanalytic psychotherapists.
Committee Chair: Sean Jackson
Saturday Dialogues Committee
The Saturday Dialogues series provides a monthly gathering for the COR community, featuring a presenter and discussant. A consultation style event, this series offers the presentation of a case to an experienced clinician, with a communal discussion of the case.
Committee Chair: Ann Glasser, PhD
Webinar Committee
COR began offering a webinar series in 2014 with Franco Scabiollo, based out of Oxford, England. His psychoanalytic education came from the Oxford psychoanalyst Donald Meltzer from 1989 to 2004. This committee continues to sponsor this webinar series and is actively considering other web-based learning opportunities for the global community.
Committee Chair: Matt Stickman, MA, LMHC
Publications Committee
Responsible for the bi-annual publication, CORRelations, this committee works to organize our printed newsletter featuring COR news, member highlights, and educational opportunities, along with a host of articles, responses, and reviews. Further, this committee is pioneering a COR Podcast and other online content.
Committee Chair: Seth Aichele, MA, LMHCA

The Educational Partnerships Committee is responsible for the coordination between COR and other educational institutions, at this time primarily The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and their program concentration in Psychoanalytic Psychology, managing the contract, and fostering supportive collaboration between the Educational Committee, COR instructors, the COR President, and the institutional staff of the schools. The Educational Partnerships Committee is also an advocate and support contact for the students in any issues and needs that arise that relate to the partnership.
